Girl Scouting is a worldwide movement of youth groups whose objectiveis to help girls develop character, citizenship, and physical and mental fitness by training members in wood, field and handicraft activities and by encouraging community service. Many nations have scouting organizations and the number of girl scouts totals several million members throughout the world. One of these nations include the Philippines.
MISSION OF THE GIRL SCOUT
"To help girls and young women realize the ideals of womanhood and prepare themselves for the responsibilities in the home, the nation and the world community."
VISION OF THE GIRL SCOUT
"The Filipino girl and young woman who are progressive, dynamic, pro-active, patriotic and God-loving."
THE GIRL SCOUT PROMISE
On my honor, I will do my duty To God and my country, To help other people at all times And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
THE GIRL SCOUT LAW
* A Girl Scout's honor is to be trusted.
* A Girl Scout is loyal.
* A Girl Scout is helpful.
* A Girl Scout is a friend to all and a sister to every other Girl Scout.
* A Girl Scout is courteous.

THE MISSION OF THE WORLD ASSOCIATION OF GIRL GUIDES AND GIRL SCOUTS OR WAGGS IS TO ENABLE GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN TO DEVELOP THEIR FULLEST POTENTIALS AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS OF THE WORLD, TEACH LEADERSHIP AND INSTILL VALUES.."
